In the early 1980s, it was home to one of Thailand’s pioneering computer companies, later evolving into a modern office building recognized for its distinctive white square tiles and its role in the city’s communication-driven era.
Today, YANH Ratchawat brings new life to the building while honoring its original spirit of connection. Inspired by the idea of “Live the Neighborhood,” the hotel invites guests to stay local and experience the charm of Ratchawat like a true local. Bangkok in the 80s was full of newly hatched tech companies and youth culture. Carefully preserved is the white tile mosaic-style building facade. The 1*1 square tiles are a reminiscence of its pioneering computer businesses and PacLink days. Inspired by local architecture, geometric-shaped wrought iron bars were introduced.
